Taeho Kim is an independent photographer based in Paris. His passion for photography began in 2017 when a friend introduced him to a film camera. Fascinated by the mechanism and the sound of the shutter, it was a true revelation: he decided to pursue photography.

Over the years, and inspired by masters such as Hiroshi Sugimoto, Marc Riboud, Paolo Roversi, Pierre Eli de Pibrac, Sarah Moon, Andrew Cooper, Ansel Adams, Vivian Maier, Eliot Erwitt, and Martine Barrat, he has explored various realms, from street photography to portraiture, landscape, and set photography. In 2021, he released his first zine, and in 2022, he had his first publication in the street photography magazine "Documag". In 2023, he held his first exhibition, showcasing a series of street photographs that capture the soul of Morocco at the Atelier Véron in Montmartre.

For the past two years, he has worked as an independent photographer with agencies and production companies, which has allowed him to collaborate with brands such as Salomon, Engie, Rip Curl, Bleu Libellule, Henkel, and Collector Square.

Today, he focuses on personal reportage, including his ongoing project "Haksaeng", a documentary shedding light on the mental struggles faced by students in South Korea, as well as on set photography. With experience on over twenty short films, his vocation for set photography has been reinforced through enriching exchanges with professionals such as Nathalie Eno, Christophe Brachet, Roger Do Minh, and Rémy Granroques. He also recently had the opportunity to work alongside Isabelle Nanty, capturing the essence of cinematic art through his lens.
